About Vicki
Hello and welcome
I’m Vicki Carne — aka Sparkles and Miss Sunshine. I’m a Health Coach who supports women to feel calmer, clearer, and more energised — so you can truly thrive and rediscover the joy in your life.
I’m based in Palmerston North and work with clients both locally and online.
Through personalised one-on-one coaching and nourishing retreats, I create supportive spaces for women to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves and what truly matters. Together, we focus on sustainable, shifts that reduce overwhelm, restore energy, and build confidence — so you can move forward feeling calm, centred, and clear.
I know how easy it is to lose ourselves in the juggle. I’ve navigated many seasons — raising a family of four (plus seven teenage homestay daughters) with my husband, competing as a national-level athlete, working, studying, and then building a business. For years, I put everyone else first — until my body sent me a wake-up call.
In 2018, I was diagnosed with Lymphatic Cancer. That moment changed everything. I chose to slow down, say “no” more often, and make my wellbeing non-negotiable.
I trained as a Health Coach and now combine my Bachelor of Science degree, competitive cycling background, global adventures, and deep understanding of nutrition, exercise, and mindset to guide women to feel their best. Today, I’m cancer-free and passionate about helping women break free from stress, overwhelm, and putting themselves last. I support you to feel energised, confident, and strong — physically, mentally, and emotionally — so you can live your happiest, healthiest life with greater ease.
Your health isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
When you prioritise your wellbeing, it ripples into every area of your life. I walk alongside you with science-backed strategies, lived experience, and a compassionate approach. Together, we’ll create habits that nurture your wellbeing — so you can shine from the inside out.
You deserve to feel vibrant, confident, and free to live the life that lights you up - and I would be honoured to support you.
In 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphatic Cancer — an experience that changed everything. I’m deeply grateful to now be free of cancer, and it’s become my absolute pleasure to allow that journey to give back in a meaningful way.
Each month, I deliver complimentary wellness workshops through our local Cancer Society for patients and their support people to “Soothe Stress & Sleep Soundly”. It’s a space for connection, hope, and practical tools to support wellbeing — body, mind, and spirit.
This work feels like a full-circle moment for me — a way to honour the lessons, the healing, and the incredible people I met along the way.
